I can’t stop admiring them either, LOL!!
I see new enamel on those burners. Sweet! I didn’t have mine re-done. They are rough but ready.
@skc I know, right? What’s a gas stove but supply lines, valves and burners/boxes?
I get the impression modern appliances rely on circuit boards. I don’t think circuit boards tolerate heat all that well. I think even Viking, Wolf, BlueStar etc may have circuit boards. Have seen woes posted by owners on many sites. One reason why I went vintage.
HOs correct me if I’m wrong.
I also have a chambers and I love your hood vent. Do you mind sharing what brand it is or where you found it? Thanks!
Can you share with Nordic ware griddle would work as a replacement for the broiler? I’ve looked but can’t seem to find one that would work. Thanks!
I just saw some photos for a place near me that was for sale in a 110+ year old building. The old tiled kitchen sported a huge Chambers stove. I think it’s a 90-C. I hope the buyer doesn’t banish it.
Thanks for this post! I’m looking at a Chambers 14B. I love the hood you paired with it. Can you tell me what it is?
