Tried and liked a new flavor of bag salad - [Fresh Express Mediterranean Herb] (https://www.freshexpress.com/products/salad-chopped-kits/mediterranean-herb-chopped-salad-kit)
The baked chickpeas were delicate, airy, and crunchy - great addition.

Fresh Express has been on their game with new flavor profiles. This one is good, and theres a Citrus Miso one that’s delicious.

We have been eating salads made of living head butter lettuce a lot lately. It is lovely plain with a very mild vinaigrette or augmented with any or all of pomegranate seeds, walnut pieces, and blue cheese crumbles.

This delightful ham.

We usually get the rosemary ham, or the old-fashioned ham, but this is really nice: very buttery.

I wish those heads were bigger, but I’m a bit of a size queen when it comes to lettuce :grimacing:

Chung’s chicken mini egg rolls. Tasty, bake fairly quickly (10-15 minutes) and these made a great combo beside some fried rice. The included small pineapple sweet/sour sauce packets are right-sized for saucing 2-3 rolls. The large bag has “about 16” egg rolls

These might be the best chocolate cookies ever, and a small slab of vanilla ice cream between two is over the top.

Not purchased, but rather intrigued by both of these I saw at our Asian market today. Anyone know what, exactly, is in these bags, or how one prepares the contents?

No cooking instructions on the back of the package?

I was too lazy to remove it from the freezer & hopeful someone here might be familiar :grimacing:

Next time!

Google images to the rescue! As for the chili chicken: To prepare the chicken from frozen remove the chicken from the packaging and place in a microwave safe bowl. Heat the chicken on high power for 10 minutes. Alternatively, place the chicken in a steamer, steam for 20 minutes or the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165F/74C. Then cut or shred chicken into desired pieces or size, add the sauce and enjoy the meal. Furthermore, you can add peanuts, green onion, cilantro, etc.

For the Chinese style chicken, it looks like the cooking instructions are the same.

If you would like to read the cooking instructions on the images I linked to, you have to hover your cursor over the image. Sorry it’s the best I could do…

THANK YOU! That’s very helpful. I might try that Sichuan chicken some time when we’re feeling lazy

I really liked this loaf, toasted with some butter spread on it.

I’ve never heard that term before in relation to baked goods. That a British thing?

What term? Bloomer?
