We get Oreo brand ice cream sandwiches here in the UK, made with big Oreos. I love them. The Oreo cookie is a perfect match for vanilla ice cream.
We have those here, too.
A local dairy puts their own raspberry ice cream into Oreo sandwiches. I’m obsesssed !
Wow! That sounds totes amazeballs!
Saw these in SF Chinatown yesterday. Are these Ramps? Looks almost naturally foraged.
Can’t remember ever having ramps before. Price seems reasonable.
Not ramps - the leaves are wrong. They look like green onions.
I tried google image translate for the chinese characters, but I do not think it is accurate!
Wild garlic?
I think the bulbs would be rounder if it were garlic.
Spring onions.
Ramps are something like $34/lb here.
I find these addictive.
Our landlord has no spicy stuff in the house, so we grabbed a spicy pepper relish for future use, as well as pistachio pesto to try and recreate the fantastic sammich we had in Ortigia a couple of days ago (already feels like a lifetime ).
Wegmans Meat Lasagna (individual portion for work lunch, $3.99).
Decent flavor, with discernible pieces of sweet Italian, sausage, but way way WAY too soupy on the sauce. I’ve taken several bites out of the lower left corner, and the extra sauce seeped in.
I’ll stick with Stouffer’s for a quick work lunch.
Have you tried the Stouffer’s vegetable lasagna? I’m curious about it but never enough to actually pull the trigger.
I think I did a LONG time ago, but wasn’t crazy about the white sauce.
This is pretty good. I like it better than some Portugese canned shellfish pates and Canadian canned salmon pâtés I’ve tried.
Home Goods is a great source for authentic pasta. I bought the same package-reminded me of busiate pasta from western Sicily. So good!
