Yep. That’s why I only have 1 pint now, buried under the frozen vegetables. I think it’s actually Talenti gelato. When I can, I pick up those tiny Haagen Dazs containers …portion control, of course.
I have a friend who has a collection of tiny Hershey’s ice cream dishes. That works for portion control, too, except they can be refilled ….
I went to town today, my supermarket did not have the new Tillamook ice creams, and the shelves were pretty bare. WTF! I didn’t check the grocery store at the other end of town as I assumed they were serviced by the same truck (being a small town and all). I guess somebody up there doesn’t want me to have all those extra calories.
Haven’t had much new lately. I tried a couple of P F Chang’s frozen dinners-- Dan Dan Noodles and Chicken Lo Mein. Kinda expensive for what they were and not very good.
The new Tillamook ice cream hasn’t showed up here, yet. I’m looking forward to that.
Edit: I spoke too soon. I just checked the websites of my local Safeway and Kroger affiliate, and they both have the new Tillamook. They didn’t just a couple of days ago.

Yea-ish - Lemon chicken and arugula salad. Reasonably filling and the dressing is not bad if a bit sweet. Reminds me of Sriracha. Could use more chicken and greens though.
I got the Tillamook German chocolate cake and the last chocolate hazelnut my supermarket had in stock. I’m sure I’ll be trying them both very, very soon.
Oh, it’s good, but it’s not as good as the chocolate hazelnut.
The German chocolate cake elements seem to be distributed throughout the ice cream, so you may get a spoonful that has coconut then you may get a spoonful that’s just chocolate ice cream then a spoonful with cake or pecan. I like that about it and hope that continues for the rest of the container.
I think fans of Ferrero Rocher chocolate hazelnut candy will love the Tillamook ice cream. What I’ve had so far was loaded with hazelnuts.
