Thank you for holding my hand through this! Barefoot Contessa’s recipe turned out awesome. 1 1/2 recipes was perfect for 3 Bundts with just about 3 3/4 cups of batter each. I probably should have baked it a couple minutes shorter, but it was great a short cake. If I were not doing this for 40 people, I would have served it with unsweetened hand-whipped cream, as it was a bit sweet on sweet. I also totally skipped all those overkill triple sifting steps (once was enough) and used a lesser amt of fine sea salt.

Looked great, the dessert with strawberries! 2 years old already the “baby”! So fast. Glad that the 40 people party turned out fine. Until next year… What were those dog bones?

Those were sugar cookies frosted with a soft almond frosting and demerara sugar
