Dumpling Garden is affiliated with Dumpling City in Palo Alto. In fact, Dumpling City wraps the dumplings that Dumpling Garden sells.
We had:
the pickled vegetable pork noodle soup. Decent, comfy, though didn’t stand out.
The xiao long bao. No idea. I didn’t get any of the 6 in the steamer.
Tofu ‘noodles’ with pickled vegetable and is it fava beans? Decent. The tofu was a touch on the salty side.
The bokchoy pork dumpling. Since I have had this fresh (vs frozen) many times from the Palo Alto location, its somewhat strange to see that the pork meatball in the middle was a little too dense. I am guessing its because we were the first customers of the day and the dumplings were from yesterday.
The server recommended some spicy items but since we were in a hurry and needed the kids to eat quickly we didn’t get those.
