At my house we just say “Make like Elsa, bitch.”

Nah. Clear techie fault. Can happen to the best of sites.

I noticed an abnormal amount of really old threads being “bumped”, with generic comments such as “agreed” or “second”, by recently joined members.

Seems like an attempt to create the illusion of activity.

I just got another CH spam email and in the fine print there was a box to check to stop receiving stuff from them. I checked it and clicked the enter box so maybe that will be the end of it

I checked over there for the first time in a few weeks and noticed that a few posts mentioning Hungry Onion had been deleted. The posts were fairly innocuous, so they must be a bit butthurt. Burn baby, burn!

A thread about the Globe and Mail’s Top 10 restaurants in Toronto has barely a dozen posts after 3 days on Chowhound. 3 or 4 days can go by without any activity in my subscribed threads. It’s slower than I’ve ever seen it.

Talk about shenanigans… I saw this post at around 8AM on 3/18. An hour later it had disappeared. Kinda speaks for itself.

I wonder where they’re putting the Re-Education camps.

Bahaahaaa…that is hilarious!

Or it would be if it weren’t so painful

I saw it closer to 11 a.m. I think. I thought it was a sign that some folks still need to get a life.

I saw that too. I have a vague recollection of reading something (maybe by catholiver?) that indicated there was some truth to it. That said, I’m not surprised the post got disappeared.
