I understand the emotion, but suggest you have no basis for that statement. Reading and listening are too very different things. Listening and ‘doing something that shows understanding of what you heard’ are even more divergent. I don’t disagree that it’s likely a waste of time, but stranger things have happened.

k, I just went to my profile page or whatever it’s called and the survey popped right up. Try it.
I suppose it’s possible that the survey was ordered at a level higher than Georges, Marssy, & Co. If their CBS superiors are aware of the Site Talk fracas and the newspaper coverage of the decampment of so many long-term users, they may be looking to make changes in the direct management of the site. The survey does not require the respondent to be logged onto CH to see/answer it, which leads me to believe they are interested in refugee/exile input.

How do you get to your profile if you’re prevented from logging in?
Google “chowhound kaleokahu” and it will list threads you’ve participated in. Easy after that.

As mentioned before, it’s random. You’d have to go there and spend some time on a few pages to see if it pops up. Not sure if you’d have to be signed in for it to appear.

Being logged in is not required, the survey popped up for me when I was not signed in.
I got the survey but they did not ask what they could do to restore my good opinion.

LOL - I lied too! I got the survey on my phone - almost missed it.
And this morning the feedback board is cluttered with “test” posts. CBSi can’t afford a separate test environment?
But that is what I think would most improve CH. It wasn’t said with snark - his vision is what led to the train wreck imo.
You’re certainly entitled to your opinion, but you’re voicing it to a group of people that deleted hundreds of posts with much less in the way of personal attack.
I got the survey pop-up this afternoon. I told them I did not like the new design, and to simplify the interface.

Some people keep getting it (me included).
Perhaps they ask that only to respondents whose feedback was completely negative, and you were less critical than I was? Just a thought.
