After taking this new thermometer through some paces in a smoker and an oven, I can absolutely recommend it. If you have anything from a bone in prime rib, to a very small turkey breast half, to a piece of meat that needs hours in a smoker, this thing just works. Everything I’ve used the Meater for has turned out perfectly done, every time. It uses smart technology to approximate cooking time and also calculates carry over cooking and rest time for excellent results.
