I want to make more meatballs, and especially want to do big batches to keep in the freezer. For those of you who do meatballs in the oven, how long do you cook them and at what temperature?
I brown them first then onto a sheet pan at 350 for about 15 minutes.
Depends on the size. I make them so they fit in a mini muffin tin, 400 for 20 mins, following Alton Brown’s technique
7-9 minutes at 450ºF. I make them of all beef, the size of large walnuts, or a bit smaller than a golf ball. They turn out a bit pink in the middle.
