This thread pops up to the top, and it makes me crave McD’s
I consider that a good thing.
You can order Filet o Fish with bacon through the app (probably at the counter too). I like the app for custom orders since theoretically nothing gets lost in translation that way, although my track record in getting what I order from the app is no better than from an in-person order. Case in point: the other day I ordered (through the app) a Spicy McCrispy with extra sauce and extra pickles, and received a Spicy McCrispy with regular sauce, regular pickles and an extra chicken patty. WTF.
After reading that Guardian article, I looked up Big Mac on Wiki. Over 2000mg salt, a full day’s dose! I don’t want even one anymore.
I can’t remember the last time I had a Big Mac (or any McD’s, for that matter — it’s simply not on my radar, save for a pit stop…). It was my favorite food item at the time, but “the time” was well over 30 years ago.
I don’t associate any of the food with “fresh” food.
I used to get a sausage and egg mcmuffin every Sunday on my way to the dog park. The dogs politely tolerated it. But then I saw the nutritional info for that product and stopped. I do go for the occasional Filet-O-Fish these days.
I mean it’s no secret this isn’t health food, nor is it meant to be or pretend to be. It’s just so easy for me to make a sandwich for any road trip that is going to be infinitely better, tastier and healthier.
But lots of people love it, obviously. QED: 513 replies ![]()
McDonald’s and Krispy Kreme is the combo meal absolutely no one needs
The two chains have joined forces to sell doughnuts alongside burgers and fries. But for whose benefit?

I certainly dont need it, but burgers on a donut has been around for a while.
Im guessing their market research is telling them people want it, so well will see!
Cardiologists, Endocrinologists, Food Behaviorists…to name a few.
Yes, but I want them.
No meat sandwiched between donuts; rather, three KK flavors available at some McD locations:
I find Krispy Kreme donuts way too sweet. And I’d never order a McD’s/KK meal…ain’t anything more “Merican than that! Add a beta blocker and GLP-1. Think of the co-branding ops! McDonald’s Krispy Kreme Lipitor Ozempic Special Meal!! Think about the totally American one stop convenience!!!

Do American McD’s sell donuts? Canadian McD’s have been selling donuts the last 5 years or so. They aren’t as sweet as a Krispy Kreme.
So do I. Just the thought of one makes my teeth buzz. I like crullers.
The ones they sell here in CAD are the size of a loonie and taste like shyte
Well that’s disappointing ![]()
