Heartily encourage anyone thinking of making fresh pasta to watch and learn from PASTA GRANNIES a series that showcases real (old) women making their versions of favorite pastas. I have particularly enjoyed trying pici (hand rolled spaghetti) and strozzapreti (twisted shards of pappardelli). For most, a pasta rolling apparatus isn’t necessary.

I have the cookbook and the recipes are excellent.
The videos are very informative and entertaining. They make you feel better for watching them.
