Another beautiful, scorching hot day in Malaga so I’d figured I’d stroll down to Malagueta beach for some sun and food.
Nothing was opened yet, but by the time I walked around the beach, some places started to open up.
I chose Chiringuito El Chachalote for no other reason than it was open and they were kind enough to seat me without a reservation and they had beer and fried baby squid

Ordered a beer, pimientos asados, enough for 2-3 people to share and tasty.
Some puntillitas “special “ , which the waiter told me were larger and better quality

€28, not cheap for lunch but you’re paying for the view and location and the quality of the food and service was spot on.
It’s too bad that I missed sardine season, but maybe another time.
Also some gratuitous shots of beach life.
