I am now working on leftovers from dinner last night. I had leftover pâté, crusty bread and olives.

Sliced chicken sandwiches, some FM loose leaf lettuce, Kerrygold and mayo on Irish Oatmeal Soda Bread. I added a little whole wheat as well and baked in a loaf pan rather than freeform. This bread makes excellent toast.

A few chonks of the luscious chicharron we were gifted when we picked up a sizable order of it for future meals

It’ll be even better dipped in various sauces!

I desperately needed sustenance after catching up with my sis about her recent trip to Korea and Japan, which went well over an hour!

Ancient (a week old, mabez? :woman_shrugging:t2:) takeout fried rice with two fried eggs on top & some chili crisp.

Before:

And after :smiling_imp: :yum:

Nigella’s lamb tagine , lotsa caramelized onions, blk olives, honey nut squash over couscous.

Coming around again…

Made a ragu with the extra lamb tagine, served over pasta, cheese, basil.

And we have been nibbling on Apple Almond cake for dessert.

Any more dessert pictures and I’m gonna short circuit my laptop

Leftover brandade over leftover ramen.

While this may look like an alien life form, I can assure you it is not. It’s the lonely leftover maitake from our recent shroom pasta, chopped up, sautéed and enveloped in 2 scrambled eggs with parsley. The earthy, musky aroma of the shroom was intoxicating.

Tasty.

It’s a big weekend in my (southeastern Pa) county: a huge multi-site Christmas event, mostly in churches, Lion’s clubs and a big local high school.

The crafts don’t interest me, but the church basement lunches do. Here’s an excellent bowl of a local specialty, vegetable crab soup. I bought a $4 bowl, then went back for a quart to take home.

Where in SE PA? Might be worth the drive by the looks of that soup!

I had the same question!

The event (“Christmas in Loganville,” a southern part of York county) is over today at 3. There are a couple local restaurants and fish shops that make good crab veg soup you can purchase to take home; let me know if you want recommendations
