Whaaaa! You can buy cheese with Bitcoin?

Who wants cheese with metal in it?

It’s lunch AND school lunch. My kid has been scraping the dregs of the freezer and fridge this week for school lunches. Today, since I was already making 2 donation lasagnas, I made a third one so he has something to take in a tupperware a couple of times. I did do a little taste test (edge) and I have to say it was pretty outstanding.

Last of quash dumplings from freezer.

The Madeira I don’t drink is good in sauces. Made a warm sauce with ginger root, garlic, and Madeira for spinach.

Udon noodles with different toppings. Mince with lemongrass and turmeric

Salted turnips and chipotle

I was taking photo of a beer on the grass and this comma butterfly landed on my grape hyacinths right in front of me. Great tit collects coconut fibre from my planter liners to build a nest in the garden bird box. (S)he makes many, many trips non stop. I left out some moss nearby but they seem to prefer coconut fibre.

Spring is here for sure, but this could happen again, like in April last year.

Thank you Saragama, it’s a pleasure to be here . I had been following HO for quite some time, and liked the low key attitude. Just needed the impetus to make the move over. Nothing like a big push to accomplish that :joy:

Duck leg confited my way…plum jam, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire, etc. cooked low and slow , then run under the broiler. Rice with peas, sautéed artichoke hearts , topped with fried shallots. Blood orange relish…finely diced blood oranges, sugar, salt and evoo.
