I don’t know the difference between Maine and Connecticut -style.
Lobster rolls are also common in PEI, NS, NB, Nfld and the Gaspé.
The Canadian version of a lobster roll in the Maritimes tends to be lobster mixed with mayo, served cold.
Some places add celery, green onions or herbs.
A lot of Maritimers prefer just lobster and mayo, served in a hot dog bun.
I have enjoyed a hot buttered lobster roll in Boston at Select Oyster.
I haven’t had too many excellent lobster rolls in Toronto.
I have high hopes for Henry’s. Hopefully, it will still be available when I’m back in Toronto. It’s fancied up a bit from a basic or traditional lobster roll.
