Lunch at the new Turkish place with my friend with whom I reconnected after almost a decade on NYE. I ordered the spinach börek [2EDD5463-97AB-416F-983B-745551CD51F2_4_5005_c] that was much bigger than I’d expected, so I took half of it home for my PIC to have, who enjoyed it more than I did. I also ordered a very good lentil soup garnished with a flavorful chile oil & a slice of lemon, as well as really good croutons — I don’t really care much for croutons, so that’s saying a lot.
