Ketchup drizzle on meatloaf

I bought some today. It’s almost identical to the teriyaki sauce I make at home. It’s really good but none of the jammys here were expecting that.

Interesting! Is your teriyaki sauce thick like it has miso or hoisin in it? That’s what it reminds me of. I must have the miso flavor. Well at leastone is! There is no label on some of my bottles, and there are apparently several products.

The one labeled “miso” actually tastes like teriyaki sauce! Maybe that’s why they were gifted.

OK, so you threw me on the Kirkland frozen pizza rec. Is this sauce on a par, or better?

The sauce contains, soy, mirin, brown sugar, garlic, ginger and water. It’s thickened with a bit of corn starch. I make it in batches that are about 3/4 cup, so it’s always fresh.
