Or US citizens that won’t accept that all from the Americas are American. Might not be 'Merican, but they are indeed American.
When I was a youngster in the 1960s, I don’t recall the N-word generally being used as a derogatory term for black people. But there was another word - let’s call it the W-word - that was in common usage. I suppose that, as with many other things, we’ve adopted American words and they’ve replaced our own traditional words.
