Sounds perfect
I so remember when Olympia was in its heyday. Got so damn sick of picking up those cans.
During the same visit to ’ Freshway Foodmart, Markham ', I also came across a whole bunch of really unique and funky flavoured LAY’S Potato Chips. Out of curiosity, I bought the following flavours to try:
-
Roasted Cumin Lamb Skewer Flavor
-
Roasted Garlic Oyster Flavor
-
Roasted Suckling Piglet Flavor
-
Braised Prawns with Abalone sauce Flavor
One really stands-out, but unfortunately not my cup of tea, is a
’ Shanghainese ’ Lion-Head ’ Braised Pork Meat Balls ’ flavour!!
…What do they think of next?!
Fine example of Global Trade!!
Japanese flavour Potato Chips from France, sold in an European Super Market owned by Russians ( Yummy Market ) and bought by a Canadian with Oriental ethnic background who grew up in Wales!
When I lived in Vancouver, BC, I was exposed to a whole slew of imported Asian snacks with flavors us North Americans would find ‘exotic’. The most odd was cola flavored chips:
This isn’t the same ones, but still. It was an interesting experience, but not one I’m going out of my way to repeat.
