Hahahaha
But I love your Avatar, Googs. It’s exactly how I picture you, walking into any of the restaurants you mention.

Tutto Panino, a new Sandwich Shop owned by Charlotte Day Wilson (I don’t know anything about her but the youths seem to know her well).
I liked this sandwich. This is the Tutto Panino, their assorted. 16 bucks before tax. Nice crusty roll, tart vinaigrette.
Soma’s Western-most location is around a 10 minute walk east of Tutto Panino, if you want to combine the 2 on one visit.
There are a few tables outside, for people who like to eat outside.
I used magic eraser on my phone to erase a person standing in front of the patio, who had pit stains on her t shirt. (Hot day here) Hee hee. AI to the rescue.
Open 11 am to 7 pm, 5 days a week.
Ooh looks good…
It’s hard to make money on music. Having an investment seems clever.
This place has a really nice vibe. The youths working there are having fun, and it shows. I’ll be back. I wouldn’t make a trip all the way from Durham region, but if you happen to be near Jameson or Queen and Lansdowne and craving a sandwich, I think this is the spot. I will walk from Little Italy for this Sandwich, but I walk a lot regardless!
I like Tutto Panino better than Lambo’s. I have tried 4 Sandwiches at Lambo’s, on 3 visits now. That said, Lambo’s is about an 8 minute walk, as is Fourth Man in the Fire which makes a good Caprese sandwich, a good grinder/ hoagie, and a nice version of a Chicken Parm that is distinct from California Sandwiches, so there’s that. LOL.
I do love the tuna sandwich at Mattachioni on Dupont in the Junction.
I still need to try the Tuscan sandwiches at Alfie’s ($22ish!!!) on Baldwin.
And the sandwiches at Ariete e Toro at 12 Keewatin, near Yonge and Eg.
Fourth Man’s sandwich differentiator is that they bake the bread on demand using their pizza dough - not the most authentic but so nice to have fresh bread vs days old from other spots. Alfie’s I tried and didn’t find worth it, but no pics to share, sorry. It was fine, but I think Aifam (Harbord St) is underrated in comparison as the $20+ Alfie’s sandwich reminded me of Aifam ($16 IRC)
The Fourth Man in the Fire Chicken Parm sandwich also a less messy sandwich and a more manageable size for me! I like it a lot.
I tried the Caprese at Ai Fam which is made with sundried tomatoes, as well as the vegetarian sandwich at Ai Fam. I have been twice. I liked it but I haven’t been back because I have half a dozen other Italian sandwich places I haven’t tried yet!
Nice people.
My last sandwich at Ai Fam. July 2024! Time flies.
I like the style of sandwich at Tutto Panino slightly more than the style at Ai Fam. But that’s sort of comparing apples to oranges.
a good prosciutto Panino from Bottega Volo. $18 before tax
prosciutto, pesto, sundried tomato, fennel salami and mozzarella
