Tonight we made, as we interpret it, beef Stroganoff. First, lots of gorgeous halved mushrooms and minced onion were cooked in peanut oil and butter. Then came slices of sirloin, beef broth, Sherry, oregano, and smoked paprika, followed by plenty of sour cream, served over steamed new potatoes, and flat leaf parsley. Forget that once again it was well over 100.
