I will be stopping by Sarajevo in Etobicoke, which is a shop as well as a café.

I think I’ll be returning to Sarajevo Grill in Etobicoke this weekend. I really enjoyed their cevap and burek on a previous visit. It’s a Bosnian-run establishment with a grill, a hot table, and some groceries. There are some tables with seating, as well. This nearby spot, Ontario Fresh and Tasty, also in Etobicoke, caught my eye. It has some Russian or Ukrainian groceries, as well as standard meats.

I quite like Sue’s Fresh Market in Richmond Hill, 205 Don Head Village Blvd (Major Mac/Bathurst).

I picked up some frozen gnocchi, frozen mushroom agnolotti, refrigerated rosé pasta sauce, and other groceries at Grace Butcher Shop located at College and Grace in Little Italy.

Good quality frozen pastas. As good or better than Terroni for my tastes. They come in a resealable bag, which I like, so I can take out a smaller amount for dinner. I liked the rosé sauce.

I bought a quarter lamb from a local farm this past week. Last Thu, I made lamb loin chops with oregano, garlic, onion, fresh lemon, and Aleppo pepper. Roasted slow until they reached medium, then broiled for a minute to brown them.
