Catholiver, it’s not my favorite gin either. I hate cucumber in beverages, cocktails, and gin. Also the first few years Hendrick’s came out 1 out every 3-4 bottles tasted like diesel fuel. Gag.

Looks like someone is hungry…(quite a varied list there Jonathan)

I’ve been very sick for two months and have only really been up and around, barely, the past three days. So I am craving EVERYTHING.

I’m sorry to hear of your illness, glad you are feeling better! Continued good health and I hope you start checking some items off that list very soon!

Chicken feet is our fave dim sum dish!

Elia Taverna in Bronxville has those sometimes …they are like little
crack fish

Are these (like) sprats?

Chowdom, What is Elia Taverna like? I just haven’t been able to make it.

Yes. similar.

It is my favorite Greek restaurant in the area.
They can be inconsistent sadly, but when they are on they’re on.
The beets and the moussaka, not pictured, when just made, so so good.
I have a friend who complains about the oil they use, says it’s not grapeseed or olive and the taste
bothers her so much she can’t eat their food…not a problem for me as you can see…

First of all, if that was all yours and one sitting God Bless you and your appetite. Second, what are those fried sardines?

Ha…no
The photos are of a couple of meals
although we are known for our ability to
chow down…
I don’t remember what they called these,
when I ask they always give me the name
in Greek…and well I rarely remember anything these
days because I’m slightly fried myself
They were good but not nearly as good as the little
pan fried fishes I’ve had there before
which were a bit flatter.
I posted a pic of these because I lost most
of my photos during a system meltdown :frowning:
The larger fish are grilled sardines and they are
always amazing
