Coyotes are a much bigger problem for my relatives who are farmers who have livestock. I suppose it depends what kind of livestock you have. I haven’t heard about any local farmers talking about possums the way I hear farmers talking about coyotes or gophers.
My cousins who raise cattle also hate ticks, and have to check their cattle and horses for ticks.
