Take care!
It got to 80 this weekend. I did not appreciate it.
Ignition from downed trees on electrical lines? Be safe!
Possible with high winds, for sure.
Fortunately, it is heavily raining right now! You can practically hear the collective sigh of relief.
That really stinks. Iâm sorry! Hope you all stay safe.
Happened here. I was relieved that my heat pump was able to be switched over to cooling without a nasty surprise (I live in fear of my appliance overlords).
Everyone here is safe and, unbelievably, no major damage to buildings. Trees down everywhere. A good part of the day was spent clearing the road of tree fall. The yard is going to take days. There are going to be some big bonfires in the next few weeks. Best of all, electricity was restored this morning. Yay for hot showers! I hope other Onions that had to deal with this are also well.
Glad it wasnât worse.
âNowing again, 3" since early this morning, no foolinâ. Everyone who got their studs taken off last week will need to be more careful. Winter wonderland sceney and the birds are all mixed up. Those poor robins are hell bent on getting their nests in order and the snow has covered up their grass supply. The juncos are keeping low, too. Springtime in the Rocky Mountain Westđ¨
Another ice storm forecast for tomorrow. Good thing we have a generator on standby.
Rainfall warning here in southwestern Ontario, Grey Huron County, Niagara Region, Toronto, and beyond.
Iâm guessing Michigan, Ohio and Buffalo might also receive a little rain. LOL
Second ice store moving through. Hoping the lights stay on. Everything looking shiny out there.
London had thundersnow and ice pellets all day. It has melted now. The front yard was covered in about 4 inches of ice pellets.
Every time I opened the door to go get the mail this afternoon, I would hear a clap of thunder.
Ew.
Friends lost electricity on Friday and just got it restored this morning. Theyâre a little tense right now. I cooked a bunch of food this morning that could be eaten cold, just in case.
Edit to add: and now the thunderstorms are starting.
That is a smart move. I didnât drive anywhere today or leave the neighborhood
Weâve had it all today, 57° for the high, more to return after midnight. Then, 70âs this weekend.
Blech, another weather warning. 10 cm of snow and strong winds coming our way. Enough, already!
Be prepared. Be safe!
Wet.
I donât look at this thread at all but I just peeked at it. Sorry about the bad weather, but I couldnât help but notice that the outlined region looks like Marthaâs Vineyard. Itâs like finding a potato chip that looks like Richard Nixon.
