Bluebird Day yesterday (bottom), day before (top) yuck. Pileated wood pecker showed up yesterday testing the logs and window frames.

43°F was our high today. Robins and waxwings were heard but not seen.

57°F yesterday and it was such a beautiful bluebird day. The cats enjoyed sunning on the couch. Got to see Venus and the cresent moon last night. The ISS was clear as a bell the other morning, too. All that clarity is supposed to change sometime this coming week. The birds have been singing their morning and evening songs, the Canadian geese flew over this early morning and it just seems to be too early for Spring! We grill outdoors year 'round, today looks like a good day for a ‘cheese bourgah’!

The weatherman is predicting 95 (F) next Tuesday, so I started working on my Evaporative Cooler today. I need to patch the water pan and get it ready, just in case he/she is correct.

Woke up to a dusting of snow. Temperature hit a balmy 1C today. Ground is still frozen. Waiting to see if the 14C the weather prognosticators are foretelling will happen tomorrow.

Had a flash thunderstorm yesterday, torrential downpour (with HAIL in some places) for about 10 minutes, then it cleared up into the low 50’sF
No rain. Might hit 60 this afternoon. I might actually leave the house.
