Whiteouts, cars in ditches and snow over my knees. Charmingly, it’s going to be -21C tomorrow night. This is getting old.

I wouldn’t try it. North of the city is a huge mess right now. The snowplow drivers are doing their best, but things are filling in and drifting over as fast as they can clear it.

A Delta airline crashed from Minneapolis landing in Toronto Pearson airport today. The plane flipped onto its roof. There are injuries, but all expected to survive.
Edit: Just read that “Reports indicate the aircraft experienced a flap actuator failure, causing a hard landing that led to the plane overturning near the runway.”

I sold my downhill ski boots in Nov 2023.
I had to give up downhill skiing, after downhill skiing for 38 years. I was lucky to ski in Japan [Hakuba, Japan] lunch and dinner and [Alberta, Jasper] trip report from Jasper in 2020.
I’m a little envious of my ski friends being on the slopes today.
I was happy with my blue bird coffee run.
My former ski club usually visits Beaver Valley on Family Day Monday, which is not as busy as Mt St Louis or Blue.
