How would you "American-ize" a dish?

I’m not saying that. I’m saying the Poles and Germans also have lots of short cut mixes in their grocery stores, that are the equivalent to Hamburger Helper.

RiceARoni is that San Francisco Treat, but it’s based on Armenian-style rice and vermicelli pilaf. Easier to sell something that sounds vaguely Italian.

I think your typical Oyakadon is pretty “American-ized” as-is.

Chicken, rice, egg, and basically soy sauce / teriyaki sauce is about as Japanese American fast food as one can get.
