Well, you got the high-end ones …
My mom would love you. Still one of her simple favorites.
You tossed 'em?! That was supper when I worked 2nds. I guess, since I worked alone, it was a tad easier.
These were dogs that, so far as I could tell, had been sitting on those rollers for upwards of 16 hours (2 shifts).
I know there were at least a few that were on there for a full 24 hours. I shudder to think of the gastrointestinal challenge those posed to the general public. Never heard of any untoward incidents, but I only was at that job for like, 3-4 months.
I never suffered from gastrointestinal or any other issues with roller dogs. When I worked downtown, I took weekly advantage of dollar Big Bite days at the nearby 7-11. A couple of packets of Gulden’s and some chopped onion. Sometimes, not always, they had sauerkraut, too. Oh yeah. Meanwhile my co-workers were at Jimmy John’s or Chipotle. The fools.
I had more than my desperate share of dirty water dogs in NYC, and suffered no physical harm. Just intense sadness. The cart gyros were much better, though tricky to eat without messy incidents.
Visiting sister in VA past weekend and picked up some Anita’s Refried Beans along with Green and Red Chile. This led to a Green Chile Dog (Best) with a side of Green Chile Beans.
Had the second dog with Guldens Dijon and onions.

I wonder if they are still in business??
Mmmmmmmwarm liver sausage.
I don’t think so
I would be happy to try it. But more for the novelty of it rather than high expectations.
Well, it’s clearly a pretty recent ad (says the really old guy).
Here’s an ongoing concern:
