@elsieb Did you ever try the fried channa (chickpeas), that also come in reused beer bottles? Those are also very crispy. Common in Trinidad.

In Paris, the locals dine around 20h at home, I suspect due to the fact many films on TV starts at 21h. As for restaurants, the time slot 19h30 are mainly reserved by Asians or American tourists, The locals will eat around 20h30, the young adults will arrive around 21:30 at restaurants.

@Harters is right about the Southern Europeans like Spain or Portugal eating around 22h in summer, as they have very long daytime.
