Help me find this Korean hot sauce, plz!

I can only provide the picture of the bottle at my friend’s house (he is currently traveling), and unfortunately, the top part of the label is gone. The ingredients include cod, anchovies, mackerel. The label seems recognizable enough for those familiar with it. I tried google, but it didn’t pop up :woman_shrugging:

ETA: FOUND IT in a post on reddit, where someone said they could drink it!!! :dancer: :dancer: :dancer: It’s a Trader Joe’s product of all things

At least I know where to look for it now, unless it’s been discontinued, of course :grimacing:

Ah, just gochujang then. Mine comes in a tub and the paste is very thick.

No, not just gochujang. It has a bunch of other ingredients and is guzzle-worthy :star_struck:

OK, cool. I shall look for gochujang with “other ingredients” added next time I go to Düsseldorf. There’s a Korean supermarket there where I get Korean stuff.

This is a Trader Joe’s product. I’d gone to our Korean grocer (and a Chinese grocer) at home, which didn’t carry it.

I don’t think Düsseldorf has TJ’s?

Ja, ja, I know. I meant maybe there are some other gochujang-based sauces.

Oh, no doubt there are many. However, I was specifically trying to find this one, having had it at our friend’s place and absolutely loving it.
