Grinding Already Ground Meat In Food Processor

I bought one of these thinking it would come in great use… haven’t used it yet, and it will probably be in a donation bag soon :frowning:

Why did you not use it?

More unwieldy for me than useful - it’s pretty big, and my quantities are usually pretty small.

I found other solutions for my ground meat issues.

What were your solutions? I’ve not found perfect ones to my mine and I’d be happy to copy yours.

I use a serving fork to mix in seasonings and other additions for things like kababs.

For cooked ground beef/turkey, instead of browning first - which causes the lumps - I add water and let it cook off. It’s easier to breakup the meat - it actually totally disintegrates and softens. I brown (if need be) after the water dries up.
