OP, I can now vouch for the Lunasia Dim Sum House in Torrance as being on par with the SGV. Capital Seafood should also be a solid choice (at least for dinner – I’m sure the dim sum is also good considering the dinner quality).

Sure. Trip not for another few months. Trying to get my research in early! Too bad Lunasia is good AND in Torrance. That location won’t work for us this time.
