After I logged into my NYT as a non subscriber, I still didn’t have free, full access but plenty of library’s offer codes like this one. Which worked immediately just by hitting their link.

Strange.

It’s much easier thru online libraries anyway.

I have a subscription, which is pretty easy, too

I thought your point was to assist non subscribers. Either way, the free ain’t.

It was, thus my link for everyone here… cuz that’s just the gal I am.

What link? All I see is a heading. Thxs anyway.

For those wanting access, use the library code, and NYT emails you a confirmation that includes full access.

I am a subscriber and got the email too. My interpretation was that I can share as many recipe links as I want for the month of September. And in fact I have busied myself sending links to my nieces who both love to cook. So I think it works as advertised.

Share as many gift recipes as
you like in September in honor of
Cooking’s 10th anniversary.
Anyone can read and save them
— no subscription needed.

My bad. Don’t recall getting a link (just the msg @tcamp posted) when I was trying to share a free link to a recipe another user had asked me about.

So glad you could remedy my failed attempt at kindness.

You are very welcome. Being helpful and kind in return is so welcomed.

Happy to send gift links this or any other month, I almost never use mine up - just ping.

I sometimes run out over the course of the month

Do you know if the shared recipes count against regular articles shared as gift links?

I do not know that. Separate subscriptions so the gift link counts should be different but who knows?

Only the NYT

The library link never expires, just in case NYT gift subscriptions run out.
