Food gifts from Turkey!

I have gotten a lot of Turkish ingredients at the Indus Village Market near the corner of University and San Pablo Ave in Berkeley California. I am addicted to their ground lamb which they always have. Their meat counter also has small chickens if you ask for them.
I am also addicted to the Istambul & Beyond cookbook which is heavily illustrated with great photos.

Wow @curmudgeon! I haven’t seen that moniker in awhile!

I haven’t had it in Berkeley, but I love ground lamb. Would you believe my DIUL from Turkey doesn’t like lamb? I thought I’d finally found someone to share it with.

In Turkish, “dil” is “tongue”.
