I had a Siciliano sandwich from Alimento on a late Sunday night. Alimento has espresso drinks, gelato, and also sandwiches, and is open pretty late - until 11:45pm every day. I had a Siciliano sandwich ($17.95), which has prosciutto cotto, salami, mortadella, and provolone. It was a good sandwich. The bread is a white roll with a slightly crunchy crust, and it had mayo/mustard, greens, tomatoes, onions, pepperoncini, pickles, oil & vinegar as standard fillings.

They have tables outside but I walked down to Vesuvio and ate it upstairs with a beer.

Molinari. Pick a number and your bread of choice out of the barrel. I want this , and this , and that on my sandwich.
I had a delicious sandwich at GADA in the Castro yesterday, although it may actually be a wrap, or a burrito, or some kind of Tunisian-French-Swiss taco?
Some info about GADA from SF Standard:
It’s a small take out place, but there were a few tables and chairs on the sidewalk.

I had the Gada Classics “Cheese Please!” ($14.99) which has raclette, roasted potatoes, caramelized onions, and cornichons. I opted for the spicy option, which adds some hot sauce.
The raclette being melted and scooped onto a sandwich.
Their sandwiches are on melawi, a Tunisian bread which is made in-house. To me it kind of tasted like a thick flaky flour tortilla. It had a really nice texture and was soft and pliable. Inside there was a lot of warm gooey slightly nutty raclette cheese. There were also some chunks of waxy potatoes, sweet onions, peppers, greens, and cornichons that added some crunch and also some acid to cut through the richness. It was a really good sandwich.
