I didn’t go to Uncommon Goods looking for food gifts, but they do have a lot of choices, especially in gift sets. Ultimately, I got this set of six flavored salts for my father and stepmother.

Bay Area HOs, what is a dairy-free online gift you would appreciate, that would cost around $75 USD? My friend’s bday is coming up.

I am Bay Area adjacent, but curious; you want it to be local to the Bay Rea? Is she in a position access the usual suspects on her own?

If cheeses are out, wine probably comes second. Crabs are probably too expensive and not quite in season.

ETA Dandelion chocolate!

Or small batch Olive oil

Or mushrooms!

Of those I have only had personal experience with Dandelion.

it doesn’t need to be local to the Bay Area, just something you would appreciate, as a Bay Area resident. This friend also happens to be a physician! :slight_smile:

I sent a physician cousin, who was living in Texas at the time, some Dandelion chocolates in March 2020! :slight_smile:

I’d be delighted to receive anything from Casa de Chocolates in Berkeley!
They also offer Proyecto Diaz coffee. The holiday gifts I gave from there were gleefully received…
