Thank you for the recommendation of Goldbelly and for the kind coupon offer. I ordered two days ago and received today (quite a miracle in NW Mt.) a beautiful brioche doughnut kit. Perfect for New Year’s morning although someone got into it already! Happy New Year to you and yours!

@ScottinPollock Thanks for sharing that discount code. I just used it to send fancy Jacques Torres chocolates to friends who lent us their family’s fabulous UWS NYC apartment for a few days after Christmas.

I used Li-Lac, for kosher candy, today. I will report back once I hear how my friends liked it

I have used Goldbelly quite a few times. I’ve used Zingerman’s once and Eataly a few times.

Stonewall Kitchen worked out well for my uncle’s gift last year.

I worked the Christmas season at The Omaha Steaks Call Center back in 2002. There a great company to work for, even temporarily. Never had the steaks though so I can’t say anything about the quality.

I use Goldbelly frequently, but partly because they’ve taken over deliveries for places I’ve long ordered f,rom.

Got them during the pandemic. Some stuff good, other stuff not so much.

I am interested in mail order dumplings. Has anyone a recommendation on Goldbelly? They offer several kinds.

I received the Mackenzie foods catalog yesterday. The MIL would send us all sorts of foods from them. The goods were tasty, with small portions and very pricey. I have not ordered from them myself.

I sent a gift basket from St Jeans Cannery in British Columbia today.

Over the past year, I’ve used Portugalia Marketplace. I have also used Junior’s Cheesecake via Goldbelly.
Junior’s has a Black Friday Sale today.

Do you mean like soup dumplings? Not Goodbelly, but have you tried Mila? I love that they include the steamer paper.

Neat!

That is the brand we went with, Costco had a deal, 150 dumplings and a double steamer with parchment paper for $99.00 delivered. They were great, and we use the steamer a lot.
I was just looking at the website yesterday, they have some good pricing for the holidays.

Has anyone out there purchased from La Tienda?
I received their catalog in the mail and was interested in purchasing Spanish chorizo.
We have no such goody sold here or slabs of panchetta or chunks of prosciutto.
Any recommendations for mail orders of such meats would be appreciated!

I got the same La Tienda catalog and was wondering how it compares with The Spanish Table. We’ve always had great results with TST.
Big vote for Nueske’s. Their corned beef hash is addicting, and we’ve loved everything we’ve bought from them. This year I ordered breakfast meats assortments for my husband and SIL. What’s great is that you can order any time, and specify when you’d like it shipped which is very convenient.

I’ve ordered from La Tienda for years and always been pleased. Never ordered chorizo, however. Have ordered lots of condiments, vegetables, legumes, cheeses, rice, saffron, paprika, the aciete tortas, frozen churros, etc.

They have excellent customer service if you need to call them, can answer all questions in a friendly and informed manner, package everything efficiently, reasonable prices and shipping rates, good content on the website for recipes and regions of Spain, most products are imported from Spain, etc. The frozen and refrigeration required items arrived in perfect condition.

I have also ordered from The Spanish Table in the more distant past and really liked them, too. They don’t have as big a selection / variety as La Tienda and since I am on the East Coast, shipping from La Tienda is faster and cheaper than from TST.

La Tienda is a family-owned company truly loves Spain and it shows.

Murray’s Cheese has changed their website since the last time I used it, for Xmas 2021. I updated my profile. I can no longer order things from Canada to be delivered in the States. The billing address has to be in the States, and it has to match the credit card.

Same issue with See’s Candies and Zingerman’s in the past. Zingerman’s had a telephone number people outside the US could call, to place orders.

I considered Zelos. The only reason I didn’t choose it, is that the boxes in my price range include sea fennel in brine, which isn’t something I want to give anyone at Xmas.

I have purchased gifts online, through Zelos, eons ago.

I ordered a gift through Ditalia today.

I have used Eataly a few times. Once, they apparently didn’t include the message or sender information, so my uncle didn’t know who sent him the panettone and gift box. I had to ask in January if he had received anything from Eataly.
