I remember Robert Preston’s ‘Chicken Fat’ from elementary school P.E. classes. We’d gather in the auditorium/cafeteria in a big circle and do the routine. This was before the dress code changed. Not great in skirts and dresses.
I see the chicken dance all over the place and strangely at the local Oktoberfest events. We even have it in our water aerobics class sometimes. Bok bok, buggok!
Beau Jocque & the Zydeco Hi-Rollers - Give Him Cornbread (Coush-Coush!) - I love that it starts with a story about how they throw cornbread…

I was just reminded of Gringo Honeymoon when a friend asked about places to eat in Big Bend. https://johntannersbbqblog.wordpress.com/2019/04/19/boquillas-restaurant-boquillas-del-carmen-coahuila-mexico/
That’s a real nice song.
I see you also reviewed the Lodge - I’ve forgotten my meals there, but it’s still just the very best. That view has my heart. You got a great picture of it!

Thanks! Nancy took that photo. She’s much better.
She went with her buddies. I went to NC to eat barbecue
My thanks to @Mr_Happy, whose post showing off his gumbo also linked to the recipe… which came with a playlist! From there:
