General Tso chicken. Many restaurants in Toronto’s Dundas and Spadina Chinatown are open late.
Quite a few pho places are open, as are a lot of restaurants in Koreatown.
I’ve never had Vietnamese food or Korean food after the bar.
At home, if I’m hungry after a party, it’s usually a fried egg sandwich, or peanut butter and honey on toast. Or cinnamon toast.
If I have already been drinking, I try not to throw a lot more food after it because, inevitably, it never digests well and I’ll be up later. But sometimes it’s hard to resist pizza, mozzarella sticks, wings, jalapeno poppers, etc. There’s a braised e-fu I had somewhere in Soho during a semester abroad in London after rather a lot of red table wine that is still one of my favorite food memories…
If we’re talking next day recovery, I generally want something savory and spicy, like a breakfast taco or burrito. Lots of hot sauce.

For me, drunk-iness doesn’t steer me toward any particular foods or flavors, but I’m more likely to overindulge with anything at hand. If anything, I’m drawn to crunchy chips or nuts.
Stone-iness on the other hand… Pizza hot or cold, pasta and noodles richly dressed, Mex classics, Philly cheese steaks, ice cream. THAT list is pretty much endless.
I’d take chowder fries over war fries any day of the week.
All yours

Okay, what are chowder fries?
OK, what is google?
Wha’?
Oh hush.
Tom Colicchio - on a season of Top Chef - referred to Ed Cotton’s presentation of banana fritters with chili paste the “ultimate stoner food”. I’ve never made them, but they’ve been on my list ever since.
I’m sorry. I was feeling salty after reading through the entire thread in one go.
