Inspired by @mts’s suggestion and the impending NYE festivities… what do you indulge in when you’ve overindulged?
I’m usually happy with grilled cheese, random leftovers from a fridge raid or, if I’m oot and boot, a döner kebab.
Et vous?

You are quick!
I used to be in the l.o. pizza followed by a liter of cold 7-up.
Fastest fingers in the west (east?)
A quick pasta thrown together can be nice, too. And war fries. Best war fries I had was coming down from shrooming in the 'dam. Perfection.
Bloody Mary?? (Hair of the dog)
That would imply one is still drunk the next day. Thankfully, I can’t remember the last time that has been the case…
The Netherlands gift to the world.
My PIC would like to add the Polish sausage with all the fixins from Slad’s on Maxwell in Chicago.
Although it’s been ages, I always gravitated toward JitB tacos. At two for a buck, I’d get 10!
What are war fries?
Oorlog saus: mayo, raw onion, peanut sauce. I thought at first it was going to be disgusting, but it was perfection.
The best ever version I’ve come across was from a takeaway place in the Belgian town of Ieper. They added a line of ketchup across the fries, along with the lines of mayo and peanut satay sauce.
Ooooh! Gilding the lily! I like!
+1 on JiB tacos. My standard order hasn’t changed since HS, 2 tacos, onion rings and drink but it’s been a while. There’s also the 5 guys in the drive thru…and order one of every item.
Mission burrito at 2 or 3 a.m. always hit the spot but haven’t done that for long, long time.
My drunk/stoned days are long over, but for general excess, I used to go to JITB and order 4 tacos with extra cheese, and ranch sauce to dip the tacos into. Plus an order of jalapeno poppers, also with ranch sauce for dipping of course. Currently I’m unable to do any of that for medical reasons, but it still sounds really good.
Please explain ‘war fries’. Thx.
Plus another 1 on the JiB tacos and + one for the 25¢ TB tacos BITD. Must have been something about the salt.
See my reply to @ewsflash.
If it is still in the middle of the night a good taco (cabeza, lengua, tripa, suadero) or a Tijuana dog at some obscure place on a sidewalk in the Mission or East San Jose
I tried to delete that post as soon as I read down the thread a bit and was unsuccesful doing that. Sorry for the redundancy.
