It just brings me to facebook
My apologies - I will see if I can fix it tomorrow from my laptop.
If youâre not seeing the Bob Fathers vignettes on Facebook and Instagram youâre missing a good thing Congratulations man
@NotJrvedivici and his business partner Eddie at Family Tavola have generously named Asbury Park Music Foundation as the recipient of their March community fundraising program. The promo starts Saturday, March 1st.
APMF offers life-saving music education programs in Asbury Park, Red Bank and surrounding areas, so your full belly can help fund scholarships for kids in need!
As a former band kid and an APMF volunteer for 5+ years, Iâve seen the power of music education; under-resourced kids find their community via APMFâs school-based and private programs and lessons. The results? They learn valuable life skills, do better in school, have higher HS graduation rates, and often pursue additional music studies in community colleges and universities.
If youâve been meaning to get back to or to try Family Tavola, hereâs a good excuse to get there! For the month of March, 5% of proceeds will go to this very worthy cause, and trust me - youâll definitely enjoy the food. The promo applies to delivery as well as for those who dine in. And if you want some of your fellow HOs to join you, post it in this thread! TIA for your support and thanks again to Bob and Eddie.
P.S. If you canât make it to the restaurant, Eddie says you can call in a donation of any amount: (732) 842-5505.
Thank you for the shout out. Obviously as a âmoderatorâ I try not to use my powers for too much self promotion.
Itâs a pleasure to support the local music community and I hope we are able to raise some money for a great cause.
Part of our business model is community engagement and support. We are involved in several fundraising campaigns and also volunteer to feed less fortunate people throughout our community.
This is a business model I have been working on for awhile and Iâm proud to be giving back.
Hope all is well with my friends and family here at HO.
Had a great slice today at Family Tavola. Crisp âundercarriageâ, to use a term that all the pizza influencers are popularizing.
The experience was delightful, except for an odd (yet very well dressed) man staring at me from the counter. I think his name was Not-something or other. Just plain weird. (And no, thatâs not his picture. He was better looking than that!)
Undercarriage??? Really.? I know itâs not your preferred description but I find it absurd. But then I am 107 years old. Carry on sir
I promise you that he didnât make that up! Itâs commonly used.
Yeah, its like a âthingâ.
Itâs a ridiculous description of what it actually is AND get off my lawn
Well, younger generations get a lot of unnecessary shit, but one thing I do deride of them/us are the buzzwords which have become intrinsic to describe even the simplest of items.
It started with âsmall batchâ, âcraftâ, and âhousemadeâ (instead of âhomemadeâ).
And, of course, âorganicâ, âgrass fedâ, and âgrass finishedâ. All while a Cisco truck packs out in their parking lot.
Now food and drinks are âcuratedâ. Thatâs the one that really gets me. âThe chefâs carefully curated selection ofâŚâ. Yeah, you mean the fucking menu?
Oh, and UNDERCARRIAGE!
My sentiment exactly, love ya man couldnât have said it better myself
(and yes, it is a full sentence)
You forgot my favorite⌠ARTISINAL.
Ah yes, many a shark-coochie boards have been topped with an artisanal cheese that came right out of a US Foods package.
Havenât seen your posts in quite awhile! Good to âsee youâ.
Why thank you!
Thank you sir - you were missed at the Hoâdown.
Curd nerds ?
I had a (corner) slice of FTâs Grandpa Pie yesterday; um⌠YES. Pepperoni, sausage, and pesto on a delicious just crunchy enough but still tender dough. Add to my list of favorites there!
