Major kudos to Family Tavola for accommodating my family and staying open for dinner service on Christmas Eve. We missed out on seeing Bob who was home with his family, but Eddie and the rest of the staff showed us an absolutely fantastic time. And boy did we eat. Started with chicken parm eggrolls, mozzarella sticks, meatballs in a bread bowl and an Eddie’s salad. Followed by numerous entrees – chicken murphy, chicken marsala, chicken valdostano, cavatelli with brocolli, baked ziti, and the star of the show, the stuffed rigatoni. We were too stuffed for dessert, but Eddie still sent us a giant plate of zeppollis with cannoli cream for dipping. I managed to find room for a couple. We truly had a great night and great food.

Tonight was an absolute pleasure to be of service to the less fortunate people in Red Bank. My team and I proudly provided meals at the First Baptist Church. I look forward to doing more for the local communities. Happy Holidays and Happy New Year to everyone!!

I neglected to document it, but last night I turned to my emergency Family Tavola pizza (Rocky Balboa, which has broccoli rabe and sausage and some KICK) that was in the freezer. Heated low/slow in my toaster oven, I was one VERY happy camper. Gonna have to get over there to replenish my stock, but I’m not mad about it!
