I may make an Austrian, Swiss or Bavarian Easter Zopf for Western Easter this year.
I’ll post few Zopf recipes.
An easy Swiss bread recipe for bunny-shaped rolls known as "Zopfhasen," which are popular in the springtime around the Easter holidays.

I am also going to look at my German and Austrian cookbooks before I start baking.
I also may buy a Ukrainian paska bread.
There is also Colomba, of course!
Studded with citrus peel or the dried fruits of your choice, sprinkled with almonds, and gilded with a shiny coat of sugar syrup and coarse sugar, this is wonderful fresh, and makes delicious toast.

Valencian Mona de Pascua
You might be wondering why I would be posting a recipe for Mona de Pascua now. In my defense, I will say that we ate the monas (also called panquemados) on Easter Monday, as it is tradition in Spain. And also in my defense I will say that...

Eating my last panettone this weekend. Not a fan of most sweet breads but I do like panettone. Yes, I know it’s not for Easter. I don’t do Easter or any holiday.

Colomba, the dove shaped Italian Easter bread, tastes pretty much the same as Panettone. I gave my friend the last of my frozen panettone 3 weeks ago.
I’m a Cradle Catholic who enjoys trying all the Easter Breads. I haven’t been inside a church since Xmas 2019.
For me, it’s more about being interested in historic, regional, and cultural foods. Learning about other culture and enjoying their foods.
I also eat Matzoh Ball soup and other holiday foods, even if I don’t follow any organized religion in a significant way.
