Lindt has jumped on the trendy train.
These are smaller bars, and we took one home. No way it’ll be as good as the stuff made fresh daily from the baklava folks.
I’m on the LindtUSA email list. Twice in the last week or so they offered their version of a Dubai bar mail order only at $15 for a 5 oz. bar, sold in units of 3 plus shipping. They sell out in one day. I think I’ll wait until the fad matures.
I recommend you try a local producer first.
Everybody’s getting on the Dubai train
Bought a 12 USD knockoff at the local grocery store last night. Would def prefer darker chocolate.
Wonder how long it’ll take until someone catches up on that. I would also much prefer dark(er) chocolate.
At 7oz/200g, that could serve 4-6 people
I had a sample of Dubai chocolate gelato at Mimi’s in Scarsdale the other night - tasty, but VERY sweet as the chocolate component was milk chocolate gelato. Not for me. Fortunately they had a dark chocolate malt gelato and excellent pistachio by itself, so I was able to get the same effect with much less sweetness.
You can get something similar at Costco You can also buy tubs of the filling in some cash and carry stores.
That’s the one I just tried.
I can only see the strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, and… bubblegum. The less said about that one, the better
What’s in the top left corner & next to it?
Mango and Lotus flavours
Oy. One thought comes to mind: whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.
This is why we can’t have nice things.
Nah. This is why we eat what we like, and leave the other stuff for others
