Do You Trust Your Spouse/Partner To Shop For Very Specific Groceries?

Are you a lawyer in disguise?

What is “wrong” half and half??

No. Engineering manager in my previous life. Now I own a small business which keeps me pretty busy.

My wife likes low fat half-and-half. The brand she prefers changed all the colors and labels and I bought fat-free. That was wrong. sigh

The concept of low fat and no fat half-and half is mind-boggling.

I hear billable hours and my barrister BIL comes to mind.
Phew

Contractors of any sort think of billable hours. To my knowledge, only lawyers bill in six minute increments.

We’re low on diced tomatoes. I can swap you half a case of black beans for half a case of diced tomatoes.

I could make that work and throw in some dried peppers depending on your menu.

Liking the dried peppers. I can throw in some home dried banana chips and some basil from last summer.

I have a boat load of lentils, several kinds of rice and glass noodles. Do you have stock?

Not at all. Reads like a sitcom script to me.

As Land O’Lakes said when I called them years ago with that very query - “It’s a skim milk product.”

Hmm, but then what does it mean that I hoard them, too?
