If the “inspired” part meant you eat one at 10, 2, and 4, I’m down with that. Otherwise, pass.
it’s phosphated carbohydrate solution (you have to have the sugar; artificial sweetener won’t work) which is the same formulation as Emetrol - sugars and phosphoric acid - except Emetrol is sold as an OTC med. Any cola syrup with phosphoric acid and sugars will do. The flavorings are just different. You used to be able to buy little bottles of actual Coca Cola syrup for just this purpose. You can still get generic. Way cheaper than Emetrol.
How can you pass up this opportunity for 2% savings???
Actually I wonder if this is even on sale? The main pricing label says “MOVIE BUTTER” which I assume is a different flavor.
Oh. Huh. Maybe I’ll have another look-see when I’m back at the store.
I’d try those Oreos.
I would try them, too, if I wasn’t chubby. That’s the only reason I’m not trying them or any other Oreos, or any other cookies, right now.
The perfect gift for 80 or 90 of your best friends!!!
That’s one of the things I like about working in an office. I buy something to try and the rest goes to my coworkers, who’ll polish off anything.
it’s one of thie things i mess most about working remotely — particularly when i’m testing a new recipe.
My father would test out all his baked goods on his colleagues.
File under stupid trend food. Protein pudding.
Protein this, protein that. Cannot waittttt until that dumb-ass trend is over.
These are also a hard no:
Just bc you can doesn’t mean you should.

Hmm… the maple butter spread doesn’t sound too bad. A friend gifted me a jar of butter balls soaked in maple syrup and they were wonderful, though I have a feeling the quality of that gift far surpasses that of the LOL “spread”.
I’m not a fan of most of the Lindt flavored truffles, but I did have the straciatella a few years ago and they were very good.
A hard no on the protein pudding for me too. I’ll get my protein from steak and salmon, thank you very much.
Yeah, the spread is the least ‘offensive’ of the bunch, although I don’t quite get the concept of turning a slice of bread into practically dessert.
Maybe it’s meant to be for children? Like Hagelslag, or bread with butter and >shudder< sugar?
There is an abundance of very good Lindor ballz: the 70% dark comes to mind, hazelnut, and white. They have a coconut, but unfortunately only in milk chocolate.
My dude and I will often grab an assortment when we are in Berlin to share at night for a little sweet thang.
I would put the maple butter on pancakes, not a slice of bread. Though as a child my Southern grandma (my dad’s mother) would make us cinnamon toast, which is like the Hagelslag you describe with cinnamon added.
Which brings up a funny memory. My dad was an engineer, mechanically inclined, and well versed in American History. He asked me one day if I could make some cinnamon toast as he was feeling a little nostalgic. But, he said, I have to buy the cinnamon sugar. What?? Dad, we have cinnamon and sugar in the house. Cue the confused look on my face.
Grandma made it often enough that she kept a container of cinnamon sugar in the spice rack. And apparently it is sold pre-mixed at the supermarket. So for decades, he assumed she bought it and that is was something more than just cinnamon and sugar.
So pre-mixed cinnamon sugar is something I have no interest in buying ![]()
Like these ridiculous products?
I could’ve sworn they also had a mustard/mayo mix, and another one, both with equally idiotic names.
I’ve also seen sriracha mayo for sale at the supermarket. Just mix the damn two items together yourself and save some moolah ![]()
Like this one?
Other than the convenience of having it in a squeeze bottle, I don’t see the point either.
