Well it was going to be Charlie and me (Liz) but now we have a conflict. We might have to blow off that commitment as well since we are picking up 3(!) new kitties from the shelter tomorrow and need to make sure they get settled in OK. Have fun, and I hope we can make it next time.

Really fun time yesterday and I think the best dim sum I’ve had in NJ. Highlights for me were the baked pork buns, hot out of the oven. Holy moly! And these little cakes with chives and shrimp I can’t remember what they were called but had at least 3 of them. Of course, my beloved eggplant stuffed with shrimp is always a favorite. All for the the low, low price of $28 per person. Can’t beat it. A few fairly junky pics of the food! We did miss our fearless leader @NotJrvedivici and @joonjoon (hope you are feeling better!)

I believe you’re talking about the pan fried leek cake if the one you can’t remember the name of is the one you have a picture of the cross section. Always one of my favorite pieces of dim sum.
