Comprehensive article. Anyone try the halva babka at Babka by Ayélet?

Interesting to hear about the Sacramento offerings too. I always wondered whether (defunct) Bob’s Butcher Block was one of those places that faded because there was no demand, or if it was just inherently bad.

What about the halva babka? Is it supposed to be special? I haven’t tried this flavor specifically.
